The cold is coming

Just a few moments ago weather warnings were issued: winter will enter our area this night.

I like my wintercoat.
I bought it from a sailor, he didn't use it. I liked it for the yellow colour, which makes me visible on the streets. But more, because it keeps the wind out.
When it's not too cold I don't even need gloves, because the sleeves are long and can be closed.

But when it gets very cold I need something more underneath than a T-shirt and a simple cardigan, my favorite work outfit.
So I had a look at columbia fleece jackets and noticed their discounts, free shipping and other offers for the lower 48 states of the USA.

I always like a full zip jacket.
When I'm on the bicycle I need it zipped, and when I step on the bus I can unzip it without a lot of effort. Zit it again when I leave the bus.

I also want a collar on it. Sometimes I forget my shawl and the collar can be folded upward and keep the draft out.

Right now my daughter and I use three red ones between us and it works fine.
She also has a hoodie, which she uses in spring and cold summer evenings without a coat.

To me, fleece is the best invention of the past century.
It's warm, doesn't crinkle, can be put in a bag as a rather small package and comes in all sorts of colours, so one always can follow fashion.

I hope you like it as much as I do.
