The past week has been very tiring, and with a kind of cold or flu bothering our town, things didn't get better.
I'm not accident-prone, but today was a kind of nightmare. Well, for those with self-pity, and luckily I'm not one of them.
We almost overslept, but with some skilled direction-work everyone arrived in time at school or work. Phew.
I think even the bathroom was surprised the sounds of water finally stopped. Well at least they went clean and with brushed teeth, lol!
I was so busy going around the house, doing the laundry and a lot of ther things, in the meanwhile thinking how I could fit in everything I need to do in just a normal week when I nosedived from the last steps of the stairs.
The huge laundry basked I was carying landed first, and I landed on top of the laundry.
My left foot didn't like it, nor did my right knee. And, to be honest, nor did I.
But I didn't need an emergency room, so I carried on after a cuppa.
Later, when I was cooking, I took the boiling potatoes to shed off the water and a large splash of water went my way. I'll never know why. It never happened before.
I managed to put it down immediately and pull the wet part of my trousers from my leg, but already I was burned.
The mark was as large as my hand.
I cooled it and hoped for the best.
Needless to say I took it a bit easy after that.
Well, let's say I had my mind more concentrated on what I was doing.
