Not many people know I've got a very nice bracelet with lots of charms.
I think I was about 7 years old when I got the silver bracelet, with a little mill, and a silver wooden shoe.
Collecting charms in a time that internet didn't exist meant asking them for a birthday and looking for them during the summer vacation.
Ofcourse there were enough low quality charms on the market, but the real silver ones with a stamp where very hard to find.
I managed to add a seahorse to the collection when I was 8 or 9, and I remember how happy I was.
Sometimes I wonder if children at that age experience the same depth of emotion like I did.
When internet was introduced into our home I didn't think of trying to find charms and beads on the world wide web, until I came across them.
Now I know where to find pandora charms, the best ones.
My dream is to have the London bus charm added to my bracelet, and the Big Ben.
And when they are even on the market: a thatched cottage.
Last year I found a lovely hedgehog, with matching earplugs.
Oh and in case you wonder: the girls have started a collection too.
Isn't that nice?
