The first autumn storm of this year is a fact.
No fun for kids going to school, but I love it.
It's a pity I didn't have the chance to go outside and have a walk near the lake.
My headache might have been blown away.
To my amazement the last 4 apples on the trees were still hanging firm, like they couldn't let go of their familiar home. The two CD's I hung in the tree to protect the apples from being eaten by the birds have done their jobs amazingly well.
Don't worry, the birds had enough apples to eat. They stole and attacked nearly all my apples this year. I've eaten three up till now, utterly happy that I didn't have any signs of allergy.
It's no wonder that on a day like today I found the music of The Dubliners again.
Makes me long for applepie and lots of singing with friends.
Wouldn't it be nice to see some old friends again and let the winds go on blowing around the house until deep in the night.
