I remember when I heard about the first plane flying into the WTC, and I saw the second plane fly towards the buildings too.
It was awful!
Only later I heard about flight 93.
This flight too was highjacked, but the people on board had heard about the fates of the other highjacked planes in New York and Washington, and decided not to grant the terrorists the same. They stormed the cabin and as a result all on board were killed when the plane hit the ground at a field in Stonycreek Township, near Shanksville in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, about 80 miles (130 km) southeast of Pittsburgh and 150 miles (240 km) northwest of Washington, D.C.
The passengers and crew, 40 peope in total, had been able to divert the plane and prevent it from crashing at the target the terrorists aimed at, presumably the white house.
10 years after the crash finally some sort of permanent monument has been unveiled.
It's not finsihed however, because 10 million more dollars are needed.
Unbelievable that after 10 years a memorial still is not finished, a memorial for the true heroes of 9-11.
