Manic Monday #149

january 5 2009

Do you have any idiosyncrasies or unusual quirks when it comes to food and/or eating?

I'm allergic to most fresh fruit and most fresh vegetables.
At home I try to avoid them as much as possible, which isn't a large problem.
I'm not counting vitamins and such, so I hope I don't have any deficiencies.
Once in about 5 years I'm checked for deficiencies.
I rarely eat out, but when I do, I avoid raw carrots, apple and lettuce mainly, because they're cause for the worst symptoms.

Because I'm a diabetic I have to watch my glucose levels.
From the start onwards the morning levels were far too high.
I've found out that eating a slice of peperkoek, a kind of gingerbread, as breakfast is all I can take. So that's it.

Have you ever written love letters? If so, do you still have any of them?

Yes I have, when I was young.
I don't think I've ever handed them over, but I'm not completely sure.
They're in my diary I assume.

How easy or difficult is it for you to say you're sorry?

When it's needed it's needed, but ofcourse I try to prevent it.
When I'm really wrong, I have no problem saying sorry, but when I'm not convinced I'm wrong you won't hear me say it.

In the past the sorry's were beaten out of me, so I have a firm feeling about saying sorry when I don't feel sorry.
So when I say sorry now, I really mean it.
